For its second edition, pne.uma hosts accordionist and concert artist Fanny Vicens together with composer Marco Baldini for a masterclass dedicated to the accordion in the classical and contemporary repertoire.
The course is divided into two main areas:
- Deepening of the accordion repertoire - Participants will work individually with Fanny Vicens to develop new interpretative and technical skills, focusing individual lessons on the pieces presented by the students and creating the opportunity to discover new repertoire
- Creation and interpretation of new works - Musicians will be involved in the process of studying and performing Marco Baldini's unreleased compositions, written during his artistic residency. The work will be accompanied by the artistic direction of Fanny and Marco, who, together with the students, will curate and research new interpretative methods.
The masterclass will culminate in a final concert on 18th of July, during which both Baldini's new works and the pieces developed during the week will be performed. The event will be held in the fascinating industrial space of Pigini Accordions, in the heart of Castelfidardo.
